This
recipe comes from the pesto
website and it is indeed a nice one. The potatoes come out gorgeous.
This dish is very simple and taste. What is more, it can be a dish on
its own. It is a good alternative to the more traditional ways of
preparing potatoes for dinner.
***recipe***
potatoes
– as many as we can devour
a glass of milk
a bit of butter
several cloves of garlic
seasoning
salt, pepper
a glass of milk
a bit of butter
several cloves of garlic
seasoning
salt, pepper
***
Peel
the potatoes, slice them and put in the
roasting tin, previously greased with butter. Sprinkle some slices of
garlic on top. Add salt, pepper and herbs (it’s always best to have
some fresh ones). I had some stalks from a friend of mine. They
always add nicely to the aroma. I also put in some dried rosemary
(fresh would be better, though!), which I really love, and a couple
of small pieces of butter, as well. Add further layer in the same way
– potatoes, garlic and butter – until you run out of potatoes.
Pour some milk over, no more than half of the roasting tin. Roast in
the oven in 180°
C for about an hour.
Bon
appétit!
