I'm a big fan of foil roasted fish. This way of preparing fish is really easy, you don't leave your kitchen messy and the fish looks nice – just like a gift :) And finally - there's no way the recipe won't work, the fish is always awesome! This is a classic recipe of for a Foil Roasted Trout. Ladies and gentlemen, ready, steady, cook! The fish will be perfect!
Recipe
Trout
The fish can be hunted, trout-fishing seems perfect as it will satisfy an instinct of a hunter and of a somebody being really hungry. If a trout stream is nowhere to be found you can always buy a fish at the fishmonger's, gutted and ready to use.
lemon
salt
pepper
almond flakes (optional)
tablespoon butter or olive oil
The trout should be roasted with its head and tail (but, of course without guts and eyes). We can add whatever spice we like and serve it with butter or olive oil.
Salt the fish (especially inside), add pepper and 3 slices of lemon. We can also sprinkle the fish with lemon juice. I usually add butter chips inside the fish and on it, but you can replace it with a sprinkle of olive oil. Finally, you can add fresh (or dried) herbs. Last time I put a rosemary spring next to the fish and covered the trout with almond flakes.
The fish should be roasted in the oven for 20 minuted, in 200C.
